Abstract

Recently, the development of science and information technology is very fast. In line with the development of the era, the number of technology usage increase and it also has a very important role in helping teaching and learning process. Learning media also follows technological developments, ranging from print, audio, computer technology to the combined technology of printing technology with computers. Lately, learning media combined with print and computer technology can be realized with the technology of Augmented Reality (AR). Augmented Reality is an effort to combine the real world and virtual world through certain program devices, thus, the boundary between the two is very thin. Augmented Reality technology can be used as a learning media for body organs to replace systems which are still conducted through conventional media such as blackboards, pictures or props. It is expected that the presence of learning media using Augmented Reality technology can be used as an alternative to introduce human organs which make users interested in learning it. In this study, UNITY Game Engine is used to build an Android-based application and Vuforia SDK, therefore, the application which was built could be an Augmented Reality application. For modelling images of organs which include the digestive organs, respiratory organs and circulatory organs in 3D are made by using Blender software. Media learning organs with Augmented Reality technology can be run on the android platform at least version 4.2, and it is expected that with this application, it can simplify the learning process and increase user interest in learning.
