Abstract

The purpose of this study is to figure out the advantages of e-commerce with look and feel features compared to the manual system which is running at Wisnu Batik store. The manual system has many disadvantages, one of which can cause mutual thrust between customers due to limited space and an increasing number of buyers. It also results in difficulties to monitor the amount of inventory quickly and increase the likelihood of criminal acts which harm both the store and the customers. E-commerce is a contact of trade transactions between sellers and buyers using internet media. E-commerce is used by sellers to offer their products online. E-commerce provides an easy transaction process of buying and selling to be more effective and efficient. Currently, the application of e-commerce technology has been carried out by many people from individuals and industries. With the e-commerce process, buying and selling becomes more practical. However, there are still many e-commerce designs which look monotonous and less attractive to buyers. E-commerce which is equipped with look and feel features is expected to be able to convince buyers to see product quality. Look and feel feature is an innovation in website design development regarding display and taste factors. The display factor is the design of a website while the taste factor is the feeling of the buyer who can feel directly like being seen and touching the product. The look and feel feature is more intended to touch the psychological side of the user to be more comfortable using the website, therefore, it can attract buying interest. The look and feel feature is specifically designed to pamper users and provide easy access to the website system. Key words: E-commerce, Look and Feel, Online, Website.
