Abstract

Smartphones use very high intensity; therefore, smartphones are vulnerable to damage. There are several types of smartphones designed and marketed by Apple Inc., namely iPhone. The IPhone uses the Apple IOS cellphone operating system known as the iPhone OS. In the case of damage, the user has to consult with an expert directly. However, users can detect a damaged iPhone quickly without paying for the services of checking its damage. Expert systems are designed using forward chaining inference methods to figure out a problem and provide a solution based on the knowledge base of an expert implemented into the system. The system can solve the problem effectively, thus, it can facilitate application users in diagnosing damage of iPhone and provide diagnostic results which are fast, accurate, improvement suggestion, and it shorten the service time to damage the iPhone.
