Abstract
Yogyakarta Province or often called Jogja gets the nickname of a student city because there are more than 100 colleges in this city. With the large number of students, the need for books is indispensable; therefore there are many books for sale, one of them is the bookstore in Terban which sells various kinds of public education books, economics, politics, technology, novels and so on. Currently the sale of books in Terban bookstores is carried out in which buyers directly find and buy books that they want to buy on the spot. Therefore, through the design of an online sales system, it is expected to be able to provide buyers in finding and buying books, and sellers have the convenience of managing the book data properly and correctly. The software used in developing this application is PHP (Hypertext Prepocessor Pear) as the programming language, MySQL as the database server, and Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 as the support.
