Abstract

ABSTRAK Seiring perkembangan jaman kebutuhan beton untuk proyek konstruksi semakin meningkat, dengan meningkatnya kebutuhan beton maka semakin banyak material yang digunakan, maka timbul permasalahan pada kelangkaan material yang digunakan dalam pembangunan konstruksi. Demi meminimalisir penggunaan material, diperlukan penelitian mengenai pengolahan limbah material sebagai bahan tambah alternatif yang dapat digunakan dalam pekerjaan pembangunan konstruksi. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui nilai slump dan besar nilai maksimal pada uji kuat lentur dengan penambahan limbah potongan kawat bendrat dipilin berkait dua arah dan Superplasticiser. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen, yaitu pengujian di Laboratorium Bahan Konstruksi Teknik Sipil Universitas Islam Indonesia dengan sampel uji beton sebanyak 12 yang terdiri dari 4 variasi yaitu beton normal, beton serat 0,5%, beton serat 1,0% dan beton serat 1,5% dengan masing-masing variasi sebanyak 3 sampel. Komposisi campuran kawat bendrat yang digunakan masing-masing 0,5%, 1,% dan 1,5% dari berat kerikil dan pengunaan Superplasticiser sebanyak 1% pada masing-masing beton serat. Mutu beton yang direncanakan adalah 25 MPa dengan umur rencana saat pengujian 28 hari. Hasil Penelitian ini didapat nilai slump pada campuran beton normal yaitu 9,5 cm, beton serat 0,5% yaitu 11 cm, beton serat 1,0% yaitu 11,5 cm dan beton serat 1,5% yaitu 12,5 cm. Hasil uji lentur rata-rata beton normal yaitu 4,1 MPa, beton serat 0,5% yaitu 4,27 MPa, beton serat 1,0% yaitu 5,423 MPa, beton serat 1,5 yaitu 6,725 Mpa. Maka nilai penambahan serat terhadap beton meningkatkan nilai slump dan nilai kuat lentur Beton sehingga direkomendasi untuk digunakan. Kata Kunci: Bendrat, Kuat Lentur, Slump, Superplasticiser ABSTRACT As time goes by, the needs for concrete for construction projects are increasing. With the increasing demand for concrete, more and more material is used, resulting in problems with the scarcity of materials used in construction. In order to minimize the use of materials, research is needed on the processing of waste materials as an alternative added material that can be used in construction work. The aim of the study was to determine the value of slump and the maximum value of the flexural strength test with the addition of waste of rebar tie wire piece twisted both ways and Superplasticizer. The method used was an experiment, which was a testing at the Construction Materials Laboratory, Civil Engineering, Islamic University of Indonesia with 12 concrete test samples consisting of 4 variations which were normal concrete, 0.5% of fiber concrete, 1.0% of fiber concrete and 1.5% of fiber concrete with each variation of 3 samples. The composition of the mixture of rebar tie wire used was 0.5%, 1% and 1.5%, respectively, from the weight of the gravel and 1% of Superplasticizer use on each fiber concrete. The planned concrete quality was 25 MPa with a planned life span during testing was 28 days. The results of this study obtained the value of slump in the mixture of normal concrete was 9.5 cm, in 0.5% of fiber concrete was 11 cm, in 1.0% of fiber concrete was 11.5 cm and in 1.5% of fiber concrete was 12.5 cm. The average flexural test result of normal concrete was 4.1 MPa, of 0.5% of fiber concrete was 4.27 MPa, of 1.0% of fiber concrete was 5.423 MPa, and of 1.5% of fiber concrete was 6.725 Mpa. Then the value of adding fiber to the concrete increased the value of slump and the value of the flexural strength of the Concrete so that it is recommended for use.
