Abstract
The development of mobile phones that are so free makes people's purchasing power even higher, with existing criteria, starting from the network to the operating system. Due to the large number of criteria available on the mobile phone, the criteria for selecting mobile phones are also increasing. Many brands offer competitive criteria with various specifications and prices. The problem in this study is how to implement a Mobile Selection Decision Support System Using the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) Method in Putera Mandiri Phone. The method used in making this handphone decision is the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The AHP method is used to determine the weighting of criteria according to the stages and process of calculating the AHP method, then the weighting results of the criteria from the AHP method will be input data criteria which will be used as the recommended priority output of mobile phones. At the end of the process it can produce mobile recommendations that can provide input to mobile phone users that should be purchased and owned. Decision Support System (SPK) or Decision Support System (DSS) is a system that is able to provide alternative solutions. In this problem an AHP application of the Analytical Hierarchy Process is proposed. With the existence of this system, it is able to make it easier to provide a sequence recommendation or ranking of alternative varieties that exist in a hierarchical manner, and this system is expected to help buyers in making choices.
