Abstract
Hachiko Pet and Care is a middle-class business that sells various kinds of needs and pet supplies such as food, vitamins and accessories. In addition, this pet shop also provides tracking, grooming and cat care services. Hachiko Pet and Care has used social networking, but the commonly used marketing media is not yet equipped with integrated purchasing facilities. The web-based information system that was built before was also still not maximal in terms of promotion and clarity of status on orders. Website development supported by the SMS gateway as the latest media information on promotions or information from pet shops can support the development and improvement of this business. The purpose of this web-based information system equipped with sms gateway is to develop an information system for selling web-based and sms gateway pet shops in Hachiko Pet and Care. System development in Hachiko Petshop uses PHP as a programming language and Adobe Dreamweaver which is used as a website design application. Data storage uses MySQL, while the API as a cross-platform application to bridge or communicate between SMS gateway databases with SMS devices. Web-based information systems and SMS gateways that are made can help service performance also produce several outputs in the form of sales reports, safekeeping and tracking, as well as short messages to members both broadcast and singly.
