Abstract
Wonokertos Village, when processing the level of welfare of the population, a resident is referred to as a poor family based on several aspects such as aspects of buildings, floors, walls, electricity, clean water, cooking fuel, food, clothing, food, health, income and education. The officer in charge of collecting poverty data in Wonokerto village found it difficult to distribute various kinds of assistance. In the current conditions, the determination of assistance in the village of Wonokerto is based on the poverty status of the data sector entered from the hamlet, and data obtained from the results of data collection of the poor. In the current condition, the determination of assistance in Wonokerto Village is based on poverty status from the total score of data obtained from the data collection of the poor population. run by various elements of the Government, both central and regional. The study of the effectiveness of providing assistance to the poor needs to be done so that it can determine the administrative process of government assistance programs for village communities and to find out whether it is in accordance with the applicable provisions or not. Based on this, this research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of government assistance to the community in Wonokerto Village. Under these conditions, a cluster system is needed to help in grouping poor families so that assistance can be channeled appropriately. This study used K-Means in clusters of the poor. The calculation parameter that will be tested in the clustering process of the poor is the number of clusters.
