Abstract
ABSTRAK Indonesia adalah salah satu komoditas ekspor penting di Indonesia. Beberapa jenis kopi telah dikembangkan di Indonesia, daerah-daerah penghasil kopi terbaik sudah mampu mengirim kopinya ke luar negeri. Beberapa daerah masih mengalami perkembangan dalam pengelolahan kopi untuk ikut bersaing di dunia ekspor maupun impor. Kabupaten Temanggung merupakan salah satu Kota di Jawa Tengah dengan penghasil kopi terbanyak di Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Beberapa desa penghasil kopi di Temanggung sudah mulai dikenal oleh kalangan masyarakat penggiat kopi. Desa Gesing adalah salah satu desa dengan pengahsil kopi Robusta terbaik di Kabupaten Temanggung, desa Gesing telah disosialisasi oleh SCAA (Specialty Coffee Association of America) sebagai penghasil kopi Robusta dengan Grade A. Lokasi Site Perancangan Pusat Budidaya Kopi Gesing, Kabupaten Temanggung, Jawa Tengah. Lokasi site berjarak 15 km dari Kota Temanggung, dan kurang dari 1 km dari perkebunan kopi. Karakter fisik dari bangunan Pusat Budidaya Kopi ini adalah menerapkan beberapa macam konteks di lingkungan desa Gesing serta memberi keharmonisan antara bangunan dan perkebunan kopi disekitar. Kata Kunci: Pusat Budidaya Kopi, Kontekstual ABSTRACT Indonesia is one of the largest coffee producer and exporter to many countries worldwide. Several types of coffee have been developed in many regions in Indonesia. These regions that produce the best coffee have been able to send their coffee yields abroad. However, some regions are still developing the management of coffee production to compete with other coffee producers in the world of exports and imports.Temanggung Regency is one of the cities in Central Java with the most coffee producers in Central Java Province. Some coffee-producing villages in Temanggung have started to gain the attention of the coffee community. Gesing Village is one of the villages with the best Robusta coffee product in Temanggung Regency. Gesing village has received the approval of SCAA (Specialty Coffee Association of America) as a producer of Grade A. Robusta coffee.The site Location of the Designing program for Gesing Coffee Cultivation Center is in Temanggung Regency, Central Java. The site is located 15 km from the city of Temanggung, and less than 1 km from the coffee plantation. The building of the Coffee Cultivation Center was constructed by applying several elements of the Gesing village environment to harmonize between coffee plantations which are located around the site and the coffee farmers and coffee activists.
