Abstract
ABSTRAK Creative Space merupakan tempat yang baru berkembang beberapa tahun terakhir di Indonesia. Creative Space muncul dikarenakan berkembangnya komunitas bukan hanya di bidang kreatif namun juga pada bidang budaya, teknologi, sosial dan bisnis. Komunitas ini ternyata membutuhkan suatu wadah atau ruang bagi mereka untuk bisa berinteraksi, mendiskusikan hal-hal yang mereka tekuni bersama, berbagi ilmu, hingga berkarya menghasilkan sesuatu yang positif yang bisa dinikmati oleh komunitas itu sendiri ataupun juga oleh masyarakat. Beberapa tahun belakangan ini komunitas kreatif sedang mengalami suatu perkembangan ke arah yang lebih baik. Event-event kegiatan kreatif seperti exhibition, art market hingga workshop, presentasi, tutorial class dan kegiatan lainnya belakangan ini rutin diadakan di kalangan komunitas kreatif tersebut. Seiring perkembangan jaman dan teknologi, kreatifitas yang dihasilkan pun hasilnya tidak hanya sebatas kesenian tradisional namun sudah berkembang ke arah yang lebih modern dan inovatif dengan memanfaatkan teknologi yang berkembang saat ini. Dalam perancangan desain Creative Space digunakan beberapa metode perancangan diantaranya metode pengumpulan dengan melakukan observasi dan dokumentasi menggunakan metode analisis data sebagai permasalahan yang timbul. Pendekatan desain yang sesuai dengan konteks serta karakter kesenian dan kebudayaan setempat yang dapat diimplementasikan kedalam rancangan desain Creative Space melalui pendekatan konsep Arsitektur Kontemporer sebagai respon terhadap isu yang ada di Kabupaten Bantul sehingga dapat memunculkan sebuah rancangan desain yang mampu menjawab permasalahan. Keberadaan desain Creative Space dengan penerapan konsep Arsitektur Kontemporer merupakan sebuah gagasan guna mewadahi dan memberikan sarana kolaborasi bagi komunitas kreatif dan pelaku kreatif kususnya di Kabupaten Bantul. Dengan adanya sebuah Creative Space ini diharapkan menjadi sebuah penghubung antar pelaku kreatif dengan masyarakat luas. Kata Kunci : Creative Space, Komunitas Kreatif, Arsitektur Kontemporer. ABSTRACT Creative Space is a newly developing-type of place in recent years in Indonesia. Creative Space emerges because community development does not only happen in the creative sector, but also in the cultural, technological, social and business sectors. It turns out that each community needs a forum or space for them to be able to interact, discuss things they pursue together, share knowledge, and work to produce something positive that can be enjoyed by the community itself or the people in general. In recent years, creative communities are experiencing a development towards the better direction. Creative events, such as exhibitions, art markets to workshops, presentations, tutorial classes and other activities are currently routinely held within the creative community circles. Along with the changing era and technology development, the resulting creativity is not only limited to traditional arts but has also developed in a more modern and innovative direction by utilizing the current developing technology. In the planning of Creative Space design, several design methods were used including for collecting the data, which was by conducting observations and documentation using the data analysis method as the arising problems. Design approach that fits with the context and character of the local arts and culture can be implemented into the Creative Space design through the approach of Contemporary Architecture concept as a response to issues in Bantul Regency so that it might generate a design plan which can answer the problems. The existence of Creative Space design with the application of Contemporary Architecture concept is an idea to accommodate and provide a means of collaboration for the creative communities and creative actors, especially in Bantul Regency. With the existence of the Creative Space, it is expected to be a link between creative actors and people in general. Keywords: Creative Space, Creative Community, Contemporary Architecture.
