Abstract

ABSTRAK Pantai Tanjung di Kabupaten Natuna mempunyai potensi wisata yang tinggi dan merupakan salah satu tujuan wisata yang diunggulkan oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Natuna. Pengembangan Kawasan wisata ini dipadukan dengan pengembangan wisata kuliner sebagai fasilitas pendukung dan untuk meningkatkan daya tarik bagi wisatawan. Konsep neo vernakular dipilih dengan tujuan untuk memajukan dan melestarikan budaya Natuna pada kawasan wisata pantai. Pengembangan desain dilakukan dengan mentransformasikan konsep lokal Natuna dalam performa bangunan yang modern. Tatanan ornamen, pemilihan tekstur dan warna serta bentuk massa lokal menginspirasi pengembangan rancangan bangunan. Kata Kunci: neo vernakular, ornamen, tekstur, warna ABSTRACT Tanjung Beach in Natuna Regency has high tourism potential and is one of the touristic destinations favored by the Natuna Regency Government. Development of this touristic area is combined with the development of culinary tourism as a supporting facility and the purpose to increase the attraction for tourists. The neo vernacular concept becomes the choice so as to advance and preserve Natuna culture on coastal tourism areas. Design development is carried out by transforming the Natuna local concept into the performance of modern buildings. The order of ornaments, the selection of textures and colors and the shape of the local masses inspire the development of building design. Keywords: neo vernakular, ornaments, texture, colors
