Abstract
ABSTRAK Coworking Space adalah konsep yang mungkin terbilang masih fresh di Indonesia. Coworking Space pada dasarnya merupakan konsep ruang kerja yang dapat digunakan secara bersama-sama dengan startup, freelancer, atau perusahaan lain. Namun berbeda dengan menyewa kantor atau gedung, pengelola coworking space menawarkan sesuatu yang memanjakan para pekerja serta memungkinkan tiap unit usaha dapat berkolaborasi secara positif. Kampus IAIN Surakarta yang berada di Kabupaten Sukoharjo merupakan area yang terdapat mahasiswa, pedagang kaki lima (PKL) dan dapat dijadikan ruang usaha untuk mahasiswa maupun wadah bagi PKL yang ada disekitar IAIN Surakarta untuk lebih tertib dan tertata. Menurut Data Laporan Kinerja Instansi Pemerintah LkjIP Pemerintah Kabupaten Sukoharjo tahun 2017 untuk sasaran pembangunan antara Pemerintah Daerah, Akademis, Dunia Usaha dan Masyarakat yaitu 100,00% dari tahun sebelumnya. Yang mana dapat dijadikan peluang untuk membuat ruang kerja dengan desain non-formal bagi mahasiswa, freelancer, startup maupun pekerja kantoran. Coworking Space di Kabupaten Sukoharjo dengan Pendekatan Arsitektur Kontemporer merupakan tugas akhir penulis yang diharapkan dapat membantu memberi ruang bagi mahasiswa untuk lebih berkreasi agar tidak bosan maupun jenuh dengan desain kantor yang monoton dan dapat menata PKL agar tidak menganggu aktifitas pengguna jalan. Kata kunci: Coworking Space, Kampus IAIN Surakarta, Mahasiswa, Pendekatan Arsitektur Kontemporer ABSTRACT Coworking Space is probably a so-called fresh concept in Indonesia. It basically is a concept of office space which can be used together with the startup, freelancer, or any other corporates. However, it is different from renting an office or building; the coworking space manager offers something which spoils the workers and also makes every business unit is possible to collaborate positively. The campus of IAIN Surakarta in Sukoharjo is an area in which there are students and PKL (street vendors), and can be used as business space and place for them around the campus, to be more orderly and organized. According to the data of LKjIP (the Work Report of the Government Agency) of the Sukoharjo Regency Government in 2017, for the development goal among the Regional Government, Academic, Business World, and Society, was 100.00% from the previous year, in which it could be an opportunity to create workspace with non-formal design for students, freelancers, startups, or even office workers. The coworking space in Sukoharjo Regency, using the Contemporary Architectural Approach, is the writer’s final assignment which is expected to be able to help the students by giving them space to be more creative so they do not get bored or surfeited by the monotonous office design, and able to arrange the street vendors in order to comfort the street users.
