Abstract
ABSTRAK Purwokerto merupakan suatu kota yang berada di kabupaten Banyumas, Jawa Tengah, Indonesia dengan jumlah penduduk 292.782 jiwa pada tahun 2014. Purwokerto termasuk kota tidak otonom karena masih menjadi bagian dari Kabupaten Banyumas sebagai pusat pemerintahan. Secara administratif, Purwokerto terbagi menjadi 4 kecamatan dengan 27 kelurahan. Terletak di selatan Gunung Slamet, salah satu gunung berapi terbesar yang masih aktif di pulau Jawa. Perancangan Science And Technology Park merupakan sarana rekreasi edukasi yang didalamnya terdapat benda-benda IPTEK dan sains, sehingga akan memudahkan pengunjung untuk meningkatkan apresiasi, rasa ingin tahu, dan memancing kreatifitas terhadap perkembangan IPTEK. Pada perancangan ini dilakukan tahap-tahap analisis sebelum perancangan dilakukan, analisis tersebut meliputi observasi/survey lapangan, studi literatur/pustaka. Selanjutnya data-data diolah yang kemudian menghasilkan sebuah gagasan dalam bentuk konsep yang dikembangkanlebih lanjut dalam proses desain atas pertimbangan strategi desain perancangan yang akan menghasilkan produk sementara berupa desain skematik. Konsep dasar yang diterapkan yaitu Suprasegment High-Tech Architecture dimana pendekatan ini digunakan dengan alasan fungsional agar kedepannya bisa menjadi upaya untuk mengekspos dan bermain dengan elemen-elemen bangunan, sehingga bangunan tersebut memiliki nilai estetis yang baik, tanpa meninggalkan fungsinya. Perancangan Science And Technology Park ini diharapkan menambah kualitas sumber daya manusia dan akan berpengaruh terhadap kemajuan teknologi dan sarana edukasi agar masyarakat Purwokerto tidak kalah kualitas SDM-nya dengan daerah lain. Kata kunci: Sarana rekreasi edukasi, Science And Technology Park, Suprasegment High-Tech Architecture ABSTRACT Purwokerto is a city located in Banyumas Regency, Central Java, Indonesia with a population of 292,782 people in 2014. Purwokerto is un autonomous city because it is still part of Banyumas Regency as the center of government. In administrative system, Purwokerto is divided into 4 districts with 27 sub-districts. It is located in the south of Mount Slamet, one of the largest volcanoes that is still active in Java Island. The design of the Science and Technology Park is an educational recreation facility in which there are science and technology objects, so that it will be easier for visitors to increase appreciation and curiosity as well as to encourage creativity towards the development of science and technology. Analysis stages are carried out before the designing, and the analysis stages include observation/field survey and study of literature. Furthermore, the data is processed and produces an idea in the form of a concept which is further developed in the designing process, by considering design strategies that will produce a temporary product in the form of schematic design. The basic concept applied is Suprasegment High-Tech Architecture in which this approach is used with functional reasons. Thus, in the future, it can be an attempt to expose and to play with building elements so that the building has a good aesthetic value by still maintaining its function. The design of the Science and Technology Park is expected to increase the quality of human resources and will influence the advancement of technology and educational facilities so that the people of Purwokerto are not inferior to their human resources with other regions.
