Abstract

ABSTRACT Now there are many accidents caused by driver errors. The highest cause of accidents is caused by human factors such as tiredness, fatigue, sleepiness, and lack of stamin . Sleepiness is a danger that we often encounter on the road. It requires several technologies that can help the driver in installation with sleepiness detectors based on digital image processing with a USB camera as image / image imaging on the face and eyes of the driver and buzzer as Pi output 3. The methods used include the method of detecting face landmarks and aspect ratios eye. The method is used to change the surface of the face, also known as face alignment or localization of the face surface which has become a very active area, because it requires a description and analysis of video-based systems, such as introducing faces, transitional analysis, connecting humans with computers and handling 3D faces . System design is done with OpenCV software with the python programming language. The system will work from the USB camera to take video on the face and eyes of the driver, after which the video will be requested by raspberry pi 3 model B, then raspberry will send a voice command if asked to repair sleepiness when driving with a threshold value of 0.3 offered for the country Asia, because the average eye shape of Asians has approximately 0.3 for the threshold value. If the threshold value is less than 0.3, the raspberry pi 3 model B will receive a request so that the buzzer continues to ring until the driver opens the eye with a threshold value of more than 0.3 Keywords : Citra Digital, Facial landmark detection, eye aspect rasio.
