Abstract
ABSTRACT From a number of accidents based on data from AIS IRSMS - Jakarta Police, 30% of victims who died or were seriously injured were the result of driving drunk or consuming alcohol. Alcohol is a psychoactive substance that is addictive. Psychoactive substances are groups of substances that work selectively, especially in the brain that can cause changes in the actors, cognitive emotions, perceptions, and awareness of a person. Someone who consumes excessive alcohol can disrupt his own consciousness. Based on these needs, in this final project a system installed in a car can prevent the driver from driving his vehicle while consuming alcohol. This system consists of the main devices in the form of Arduino UNO and Arduino Nano, intermediaries with Bluetooth module HC-05, and additional devices in the form of sensors that will detect the driver's breath whether it is detected consuming alcohol. The sensor will read the driver's alcohol level. If the sensor detects alcohol below 1% then the light will turn on and the LCD will display safe driving and if the sensor detects alcohol above 1.8% then the car's electricity is off, the buzzer will turn on for 15 seconds with an LCD that will display unsafe. Keywords: arduino UNO , arduino Nano, Alcohol, MQ-3, Bluetooth HC-05
