ABSTRACT The need for ever-increasing electricity and increasing depletion of natural resources makes researchers able to produce renewable energy that can be obtained from the surrounding environment, such as water, ocean waves, solar radiation, geothermal energy, wind and others. Wind energy is one of the energies that can be developed in Indonesia. Wind speed in Indonesia which is always changing does not mean that there is no chance to develop it. The use of wind energy itself can be developed by making micro-PLTB. Wind turbines also become an important component with the use of wind energy, which generates components that convert wind energy into electricity. There are several types of generators used in the power plant system, one of which is the Magnet Synchronous Genrator (PMSG) is one type of generator that has a high level of efficiency because there are no excitation losses produced so that it is widely used in wind power plants. The design of the permanent magnet generator itself can be done using the MagNet Infolytica Software, where designing with MagNet Sotware itself we can find out the characteristics of the generator that we have made. In this study the design of variations of slots 12,15,18, variation of pole 8,10,16, and variance of winds 20,40,60,80,100. Where in this test is carried out with the following scenario, namely knowing the efficiency of the generator based on the variable slot, pole, and windings, knowing the average voltage released. In this simulation data collection on the generator is carried out every variation of slots, poles, and turns. The results during the test are then analyzed by processing the data and looking at the graph of the voltage magnitude at the generator and the efficiency value. The generator produces a high voltage at 18 16 Pole 100 Circles of 176.9 V. The more number of turns the greater the value of the voltage produced. The greatest efficiency value is found in 2 generators, namely 12 slots 16 Pole 60 turns and 12 slots 16 Pole 80 turns which each has an efficiency value of 89%.
