Abstract
ABSTRACT Drive Test is a measurement carried out to observe and perform optimization so that performance criteria are generated and know the network Quality of Service. What is observed is usually the transmit and receiving power, the rate of access failure (originating and terminating), the level of drop calls and FER. In this study, the Genex Probe is used for outdoor Drive Tests using GPS (Global Positioning System) as a navigation and plotting parameter for the Drive Test route that is passed. Parameters observed, including RSRP, RSRQ, SINR. In addition, the use of mobile phones and GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) that are used will help determine the location and coordinates of the MS position or mobile phone used when moving. Drive Test is one way to get information about which areas are experiencing these problems. Information obtained is displayed online obtained from the Genex Probe software. To produce ideal Drive Test data you must first determine whether the DT results in the value can be accepted or not. The value of the Drive Test is acceptable, if the steps in taking the value are done in the right way. Keywords: Drive Test, Genex Probe, Drive Test process, Drive Test Parameter
