Abstract

ABSTRACT Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Fly Wing is a flightless or pilotless aircraft. This UAV has many advantages including, this aircraft can be used to carry out missions. One of the most frequently used UAV missions is monitoring conditions in a place. Monitoring the environmental conditions of the air using the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) is capable of sending data to the Ground Control Station (GCS). GCS can also be used to send commands. This aircraft has the purpose of being able to fly using the auto take off, autopilot and auto landing systems with Arupilot software and hardware, and can be used as aircraft monitoring. When using autopilot, the aircraft is regulated by using Software and Arupilot Hardware. Ardupilot is a controller that can be programmed to guide the movement of aircraft like a UAV. To be able to do the autopilot mode, the previous stage of ardupilot is done by installing software and hardware and then connecting software and hardware with a USB cable and entering flight data, then performing a flight test. In this study, the commands sent are auto take off, autopilot, auto landing and RTH commands to achieve a predetermined goal. This autolanding command is used to direct the UAV to a position that you want to go to. Command data sent is in the form of longitude coordinates and latitude of destination. To enable autopilot and autolanding, a system for sending commands from GCS to UAV is needed. Keywords: UAV, Auto Pilot, Ardupilot
