Abstract
ABSTRACT DESIGN OF INFORMATION SYSTEM WEB-BASED CITY TOUR PACKAGE BOOKING (CASE STUDY: NIRMALA TOUR & TRAVEL) Nirmala Tour & Travel is a company engaged in the city tour travel agency and tour package services. Many trips that provide tour packages are scattered in Yogyakarta and surrounding cities, which makes customers have many choices to compare package prices and facilities obtained. However, customers can only compare prices by coming to the travel office and asking questions directly, making it inefficient and having to spend a fair amount of time. Customers generally want to get the desired information through electronic media, one of them through the website. The author's goal is to make it easier for customers to be able to compare facilities and prices that are obtained and can make ordering and payment transactions online using the website. The website is created using a MySQL database and PHP programming language to make it easy to design a website as a medium of information.
