Abstract
ABSTRACT The very rapid development of science allows practitioners to always continue to make new ideas that are useful, among others, to help human work and overcome certain problems. This is shown in the progress of science and technology which is currently characterized by the emergence of tools that use digital and automatic system. The purpose of this research is to make an application that can carry out the process of controlling electrical equipment in the home that can be accessed via SMS (Short Message Service). By using cell phones with SMS facilities that are able to exchange text-based information remotely these devices can be an alternative controller for on and off lights, with the addition of an arduino uno microcontroller. To detect fire smoke inside the house, a flame sensor is used, and to detect the presence of thieves in the house, a Passive Infra-Red sensor is used. The system has the ability to process the validation whether the lights are lit properly or in a damaged condition and inform the office manager via SMS. Keywords: Arduino Uno, PIR Sensor.
