Abstract

ABSTRAK In modern times, there are many goods and facilities that support technological advancements related to IoT or the Internet of Things. More and more facilities are making use of these technological advancements to support daily activities and lifestyles. Utilization of technological advances in the field of sports can be done by using a microcontroller-based tool that can be connected to the internet. This tool is used to help facilities in the field of high jump sports which are currently still manual in setting the height. The making of this tool starts from the design of a tool made by using components on a microcontroller and approved with an ultrasonic sensor for distance and driven by a motor to reach the desired height. If the height exceeds the specified size, the buzzer will sound as a sign of approval. Height data will go through the ESP8266 wifi module. Testing result shows that this tool can receive data from the values that have been inputted through the smartphone application. Keywords : High Jump, Distance, NodeMCU
