Abstract
Ar Rahmah Srambat Vocational School is a school whose expertise is Information and Communication Technology. As an IT-based school, the school should have used academic information systems in the data processing. However this school has not used academic information systems so there are still many weaknesses such as academic data that are not well integrated and there are still redundant. Therefore, in this research, an academic information system is developed that can manage data as well as possible so that the data can be used easily by those who need it. The development of academic information systems can reduce the burden on all parties. Presentation of information in a web will make it easy to access. The software used in developing this application is PHP (Pear Hypertext Preprocessor) as the programming language, MySQL as a database server, Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 as a support. This research uses the method of Research and Development (R&D). This academic information system is a system that helps the process of registering new students, student data collection, data search, assessment and scheduling at SMK Ar Rahmah Srandakan.
