Abstract

ABSTRACT In this increasingly advanced era, the field of electronics has increasingly developed where the use of electronic devices that already use automatic systems and operate far away. Seeing the problem, the author made a final project entitled "Bajomulyo Village Agricultural Irrigation Control System Based on Sensor Network". A tool functions using a chip microcontroller as the main control. Then there is a soil moisture sensor as a tool input to read soil moisture. From the results of reading the sensor, it will be controlled by Arduino and used to connect open or close irrigation doors. Then, communication will be done using SMS gateway and the Internet of Things. This sensor-based network control system is an innovation in fields designed in accordance with the rice irrigation requirements in general. This system is designed to make it easier and improve time efficiency in the process of automatic door control and remote monitoring. The manufacture of network sensor based control systems uses several requirements, needs analysis, hardware design, software design, prototype manufacturing and testing. The test results on this system reveal that when the average of the humidity sensor is dry, the irrigation door is opened and when the average of the sensor is wet the irrigation door will be closed automatically. On dry testing the dry door reaches <50% and the safety limit for closing sluices reaches> 50%. Keyword : Sensor Network, Irrigation, Controller
