Abstract

Cats are pets that have many promising economic potential, especially Angora cats. Ornamental cats that are often maintained are often susceptible to disease. Diseases in cats can spread quickly and can result in death. The disease can be caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites. To prevent cat disease from being contagious, cat owners must know in advance about diseases in cat animals, so that they can be prevented and treated for cats as early as possible. Determination of diseases in the expert system is carried out through a consultation process between users and the system and also uses case-based reasoning. The system will display symptoms of the disease, then the user chooses the symptoms that are experienced. Symptoms chosen by the user will be adjusted to the existing rules so that the user will get the results of the diagnosis in the form of symptoms, types of diseases and handling solutions. It is hoped that this expert system can provide information and treatment early if Angora cats are detected experiencing pain.
