Abstract
Temanggung Regency is one of the mountainous regions that has 3 superior agricultural commodities, namely tobacco, coffee and garlic. Many KTA owners who have direct access to factories do not yet have a system for determining tobacco quality. Therefore the writer works with UD. Vian Jaya to assist problems in purchasing dried tobacco by creating a decision support system in the selection of dried tobacco. In the selection of dried tobacco in UD. Vian Jaya constraints still occur that there is no system that can provide alternative decision results and can be used as a consideration in the decision making process whether or not dry tobacco is to be sold in accordance with the criteria of the kir master. The system to be developed can help beginners who are just learning dry tobacco and graders to determine the quality tobacco in accordance with predetermined criteria. Aspects of the criteria used in selecting dry tobacco are the physical and sensory aspects of tobacco itself. The program produced in this system is a system for determining the quality of tobacco on a desktop basis accompanied by the use of the simple Multi attribute Rating Technique method and using the java programming language. The software used is NetBeans IDE 8.0.2 with database processing using MySQL. Keywords: determination of tobacco feasibility, Simply Multi Attribute Rating Technique.
