Abstract
The nutritional status of children is very influential on the process of growth and development. Poor nutrition is often experienced by toddlers and children, in some remote areas whose livelihoods are difficult, it tends to be epidemic. Children suffer from malnutrition every year from the two villages of Tamantirto and Bangunjiwo. This condition makes a child or toddler experience a shortage of healthy and nutritious food intake. The limited understanding of the community about malnutrition is an obstacle in dealing with health problems. Therefore from the problems above, it is necessary to design a system for diagnosing malnutrition in Balta using a simple additive weighting method to help determine the nutritional status of children under five years of age who are served at the Puskesmas Kasih 1 Bantul. This system was built using a website-based application with the aim of assisting in looking at nutritional levels in infants, developing a knowledge base appropriate to be applied to the diagnosis problems of this study can help detect malnutrition in toddlers.
