Abstract
As a service agency or agency under the auspices of the regional and central education offices, SMA Negeri 1 Minggir had the authority and obligation to carry out learning activities to educate the nation's life. As an embodiment of this obligation, SMA Negeri 1 Minggir established a library to support learning activities and assist students in adding insight and knowledge. In the process of data processing and presentation of information that had been running in this library, the process of borrowing and returning books were still done using paper documents that were at risk of being damaged, dirty, damaged or burned. The paper storage also had a weakness that required time to search for data and was prone to losing documents. Reviewing some of these things, we need a system or application of data processing and presentation to improve the performance of officers in data processing and increase student interest in reading and reduce the weaknesses of the existing system. To overcome these problems, a system was developed which helped simplify, improved precision and efficiency, provided information to students about the availability of books and helped the students to register. For library staff, it held collect books, borrow and repay and prepare reports. This information system was built with PHP and MySQL software as a database for data storage. This research resulted in a system that simplified processing data in the library, searching for books, checking stock of books, and registering visitors. Keywords: repayment, library, loan
