Abstract
Teaching and learning activities at SMK Negeri 7 Purworejo were always related to students school fees. Beside School Operational Assistance (BOS) fund from the government, school fees were still applied to support the school learning process. Within the process of school fees payment, there occurred some problems either from administration staff or students’ parents. Some problems from the staff were on recording and accounting of school fees payment data and recap of student payment bills. In the real practice, the recording and accounting recaps were carried out manually in the forms of a general ledger. This manual recap was acceptable but it needed better accuracy and speed of data management since it needed repeated checking and input for every recap. On the other hand, parents did not have sufficient and transparent information on their school bills. With the developed information system for student school fee payment, the academic staff will simplify he activities of data recording, school fee accounting, and students bill recap. On the other hand, parents will easily monitor their school fee payment. To simplify the staff’s work, the system was able to help input payment data and recap student payment bills. To increase reliability on accurate student payment information transparency, the system helped parents monitor detail student payment bills using the system.
