Abstract
The inventory system in Budas Bun had many obstacles, namely the unavailability of inventory information system so that procedures of controlling inventory, selling goods, purchasing goods, and profit/ loss reports still required a long process and the risk of losing data was very high. It required inventory information system aimed to make business decisions quickly, accurately, facilitate the storage of data, sales report data, purchases, and income statements. Based on the existing problems in Budas bun, this final project developed a web-based inventory information system. It was expected to help in overcoming the problem of inventory data reports, reports on goods ordering activities, profit/ loss reports, storage of goods, inventory control, sale of goods, and purchase of goods. With the existence of inventory information systems on Budas Bun it was concluded that using an inventory information system reduced the risk of data loss, accelerated preparing reports, and the owner was able to monitor in real time the inventory of existing goods.
