Abstract
Changes in lifestyle and economic demands in modern times like today require that a person can manage his time as efficiently as possible, both in personal matters and their work. Such changes lead to demands for practicality in responding to their personal needs, for example in terms of washing clothes and ironing. This fact slowly triggered the development of a service that provided convenience in terms of washing clothes which was called laundry services. Berkah Laundry which is located at Jalan Kebon Agung Km.1, Nganti, Sleman, provided per-kilogram washing services for clothing laundry services, bed linen, various sizes bed covers, various thickness of blankets. During this time the service administration process was still using manual practices. Laundry reception transactions were recorded with a laundry receipt book so that to search for data was difficult and required a long process and to find out the laundry income must also recapitulate all laundry receipts. In addition to the data collection of purchases of goods for laundry purposes also still used manual data collection. It was also a problem to find out the amount of laundry expenditure which required a relatively long time. The large number of customers who used laundry services made the owner overwhelmed in managing their business so that the recording was not neat and sometimes caused errors in recording and calculation of laundry costs to be paid by customers. The purpose of the research was to design a computerized information system for recording and releasing transaction data so that it can run quickly, effectively and efficiently. To design the computerized information system, the DELPHI 7 application was used. Keywords: Analysis, Design, Service, Laundry, Computerization.
