The development of computerization helped employees to complete their work more effectively and efficiently. With an information system, data processing was faster, more efficient and accurate. Putra Tantik Store is one of the shops that sells a variety of nine basic staples and household appliances. Business processes of the Store were only carried out by conventional recording such as the process of purchasing goods from suppliers and selling goods to customers calculated using a calculator as a calculation medium. It cased difficulties in management of the entry and exit of goods/inventory in the warehouse and in finding out income/store profits every day because there was no precise calculation to determine COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) at the Store. This research was conducted with the aim: (1) to design and develop an inventory information system that can determine COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) of goods, (2) to present real time product display information to customers/members who shop online, (3) to minimize the queues at cashiers that enable customers to make online orders, (4) to expand the reach of store marketing to increase sales turnover. This system was built using web programming such as PHP, HTML and JavaScript, while the database storage used MySQL as RDBMS. The results of this system were in the form of a system that can display product display information to members to make online shopping orders. Whilst the selling price of the product can be determined automatically in the system by using the COGS (Cost of Goods Sold). COGS was used if there was a difference between the old purchase price and the new purchase price from the supplier. In addition, COGS was also used to determine the selling price based on the average of the old purchase price, old stock (store stock and warehouse stock), new purchase price and new stock (the number of new purchases to suppliers).
