Abstract

ABSTRACT Rain is one of the natural phenomena contained in the hydrological cycle and is greatly influenced by climate. The existence of rain is very important in life because rain can meet the water needs that are needed by all living things. Considering the importance of water for life, continuous monitoring or monitoring of rainfall is needed, this research designs and builds rainfall gauges using the Internet of Things Fuzzy Tsukamoto method. (IoT) works with two sensors namely the rain gauge sensor as a rainfall gauge for rain thickness data and the wind speed sensor as a measurement of wind speed with micro sd storage on the sd card module. Information system that includes an application and a web service to display the output of an IoT-based rainfall gauge. This tool successfully uses the fuzzy calculation with Tsukamoto method to determine the intensity of the disaster in rainfall which includes two sensors with output 1 (very low) - 5 (very dangerous) disaster warning rating.
