Abstract

Rats and birds are nuisance animals for agriculture and farming, and even some species classified as pests. Some of the ways that can be done to eradicate or expel birds and rats are by using traps, poison, or maintain natural predators. One alternative way is to use the frequency wave. Rats are one of the animals that are sensitive to ultrasound because it has above human hearing range, while birds have almost the same hearing limit as humans. This study aims to analyze the effect of the pest repellent with ultrasonic waves using NodeMCU microcontroller. Ultrasonic wave generated can be set manually by the user with frequency variations.
