Abstract
Rice for poor families or Raskin is one of the government's programs in reducing the burden of spending on poor people and social protection of the community. In its distribution there are often constraints or problems, one of which is in the reception of poor or Raskin rice because the decision to determine criteria only done using estimates not by calculation when determining the recipients of poor rice. Therefore this research was conducted with the aim of improving the reception of poor or Raskin rice for the poor. To support that, a decision support system is needed. Decision Support System is a system that can help someone in making decisions that are accurate and right on target. Many problems can be solved using a decision support system, one of which is the determination of recipients of poor or Raskin rice. This study uses the Simple Additive Weighting method. Simple Additive Weighting is a method that is widely used in decisions that have many attributes. Simple additive weighting method requires the process of normalization of the decision matrix (X) to a scale obtained compared with all existing alternative ratings, such as in a decision support system for determining poor or Raskin rice recipients. Based on the results of the study, it is expected to help determine the number of poor rice recipients in accordance with predetermined criteria.
