Abstract

Acceptance of new employees is important for hospitals to obtain new employees in occupying a position. In some hospitals, the process of receiving new employees is still not done professionally. This happens because there is no systematic standard method to assess the feasibility of new prospective employees. To be able to grow and develop in accordance with the vision and mission of the hospital, objectivity is needed to be able to support every decision to get good employees for the long term. However, this is very contradictory with what is implemented in the field. The frequent assessment based on subjectivity and nepotism is one example of the failure of decision making in the acceptance process. If it runs in a long time it can affect the performance of a company which results in the failure of a company to achieve its goals. With these problems, a new recruitment system will be built. This system uses the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) decision calculation method. Making this system uses the PHP programming language, and MySQL as the database. This system is used to accelerate the selection process of prospective employees and can make assessments more objectively. Keywords: Decision Support System, Employees, Simple Additive Weighting
