Abstract
Psychological disorders or psychiatric illnesses are psychological or behavioral patterns that are generally associated with stress or mental disorders that are not considered part of normal human development. Mental disorders can arise from mild to severe scale. Approximately 10-20 percent of adolescents in the world experience mental disorders, but are undiagnosed and untreated. Depression cases often cause teenagers to commit suicide. Therefore the determination of the type of psychological disorder needs to be made so that it can be used by adolescents to find out the possible types of psychological disorders that are experienced before taking further action such as consulting a doctor or laboratory tests at the hospital. The development of an initial diagnostic system for psychological disorders can be built using the Naive Bayes method. The Naïve Bayes method works by calculating the probability of a disease occurring from each existing disease and determining which disease has the greatest chance of appearing based on how many symptoms the user inputs. Psychological disorders diagnosis system is implemented to facilitate users in diagnosing psychological disorders they experience. Keywords: Naïve Bayes, Psychological Disorders, Diagnosis System
