Abstract
The initial implementation of Raskin (rice forthe poor) distribution aims to help poor people. This activity is carried out every month, where the prospective recipient's data is always increasing or changing. In determining the criteria for Raskin recipients, errors often occur. In determining the criteria, it is only through subjective analysis, so errors can occur in determining who gets Raskin or not. If that happens the result is that the Raskin is misdirected and not to those who are entitled to receive it. Therefore this research was made in order to reduce errors in the classification of Raskin recipients. This research uses the Decision Tree algorithm which is a well-known technique in data mining. The Decision Tree method transforms large facts into decision trees that represent rules. Rules can be easily understood with natural language. Decision Tree is also useful for exploring data, finding hidden relationships between the number of potential input variables and a target variable.
