Abstract
The development of science and information technology today is very fast, in line with the times of the increasing use of technology and has a very important role in helping the teaching and learning process. Learning media also follows the development of technology, ranging from print technology, audio, computers to a combination of print technology and computer technology. Currently the learning media combined from print and computer technology can be realized with Augmented Reality (AR) technology media. Augmented Reality is an attempt to merge the real world and virtual world through a certain set of programs so that the boundary between the two is very thin. Augmented Reality technology can be utilized as a medium of multimedia learning including learning media on biology subjects in class X high school. It is hoped that the presence of learning media using Augmented Reality technology can be used as an alternative that makes users interested in learning it. In this study, UNITY Game Engine is used to build Android-based applications and Vuforia SDK so that applications that are built can be applications with Augmented Reality technology. For modeling images that include biology X SMA material in 3D created using Blender software. Learning media with Augmented Reality technology can be run on a minimum android platform version 4.2, it is expected that with this application can facilitate the learning process and increase user interest in learning. Keywords: Android, Augmented Reality, Biology, UNITY, Vuforia
