Abstract
Pelem hamlet is located in Baturetno, Banguntapan, Bantul side by side with Sleman district and Yogyakarta city and is the northernmost hamlet of Bantul district. Geographical information systems (GIS) are computer systems that have the ability to store, manage and display geographic information, for example data identified by location. The geographical population information system is a population system that has a GIS in it. The demography system manages population data on Hamlet Pelem residents, and SIG displays data on location of residents' houses in Dukuh Pelem residents. The geographical population information system was developed using the PHP programming and MySQL as a database server. The existence of a web-based population information system can to help prepare data for related parties like population census officers, village officials, sub-district officials, and website visitors.
