With performance appraisals the achievements achieved by each employee will be known. Employee performance evaluation is something that must be done in a company or agency. This is done to determine the increase or decrease in the work of an employee and will greatly affect the continuity of work in the company or an agency. The problem is that the performance of employees is still doubted, because some people consider the performance of employees still low. The research conducted aims to create a decision support system to assess employee performance in agencies using the Simple Additive Weighting method so that it can assess employee performance effectively and efficiently. The system will be built using PHP and MySQL as the database. In creating the decision making systems for employee performance appraisal , the writer uses the Simple Additive Weighting method. Employee performance appraisal in agencies is based on several criteria including work discipline, work motivation, work loyalty, work effectiveness and work productivity. The results of the study are in the form of a decision support system which is expected to help process data in determining the selection of employee promotions.
