Abstract
Madrasah Aliyah Al-Amanah, located at Jalan Poros Kalia-lia, Liabuku, Bungi district, Baubau City, Southeast Sulawesi, has a large number of students. With a large number of students, it is rather difficult to carry out the data collection, including the granting of scores. They use computers to collect the data, but Microsoft Excel is the only support they have. To carry out the assessment process for students, each homeroom teacher must recap the data from each subject teacher. Therefore, through the design of an academic information system that focuses on evaluating students, it is expected to be able to support the assessment process. Data processing in this information system includes the data of students, teachers, subjects, homeroom teachers, and the daya of students' grades. Students can pass the test if they reach the standard value, which is 65. In the learning method, this school applied 2013 curriculum, whose assesment system is divided into three aspects, respectively: knowledge, pratical value, and attitude value. One of the difficulties faced by the teachers in this school is to determine the value of stundents' attitude.in class, the assesment is directly submitted by the subject teacher. The resultof the research at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Amanah is to build a website - based academic information system to facilitate the teachers in the process of calculating the students' grades. The system makes it easier for them to input scores from both subject teachers and homeroom teachers. Keywords: system, information, assessment
