Abstract

Yogyakarta is a favorite tourist destination for domestic and foreign tourists. For some circumstances tourists sometimes have difficulty in finding rental services to deliver it to the tourist attraction to be addressed. The purpose of this study is to create an e-marketplace service where the e-marketplace system can search rental services that recommend the shortest distance to the user's location (current location) using haversine formula and Google maps as support. Haversine Formula is an equation that gives the distance of a large circle (radius) between two points on the surface of the sphere (earth) based on longitude and latitude (longitude and latitude). The results of this research are expected to create an e-marketplace application that can determine the closest distance of the rental service provider to the location of the user and can help the meeting between the rental service provider and the rental service seeker in providing information about rental services such as cars, motorbikes and others. This system can also be used to order a rental service by selecting a rental ad then filling in the tenant's data and uploading the terms of the lease document that has been listed, so that members no longer need to come to the rental place.
