Abstract
Kulon Progo Regency is one of the new mainstay areas in the Special Region of Yogyakarta which is currently in a city development project that is the construction and development of tourist and culinary sites. With the competition in the buying and selling market in Kulon Progo which is expected to increase and there will certainly be more and more investments in the field of buying and selling goods, technology and digital media assistance as well as special marketing methods will help technology strengthen and make it easier for buyers to choose a shop even though many stores sell the same goods with other stores. With the help of digital technology and the web and with the conditions of today's society who prefer to buy or just see prices through online media, sales system technology will be the choice or marketing solution that will be chosen by a seller to get buyers with easier services even though its effectiveness is slightly reduced . By exploiting this potential, because the number of souvenir shops with a web system is still very small, this step is helping the Kulon Progo region go one step further in developing a sales system on a web basis, for that Kulon Progo is very appropriate to be increased in the concept of web-based IT to be applied in the sales marketing system.
