Abstract

SMK Merah Putih Jetis, Bantul is a fairly new and still developing school. At this time in SMK Merah Putih Jetiss, Bantul the process of determining the recipients of educational grant has not been done well and there is no system that is associated with the problem. So it will be difficult to determine the recipients of educational assistance and avoid mistakes in determining. The purpose of this research is to develop a system of recommending the eligibility of recipients of tuition assistance for students in SMK Merah Putih Jetis, Bantul by applying the Weighted Product method, so that it can provide the best recommendations for schools for students who are eligible to receive assistance. The research methods used include data analysis, system design and implementation. The program development is done using the Pascal Delphi programming language and MySQL for the database. The results of this study are able to determine students who are eligible to receive educational assistance based on the criteria of each student who is processed and calculated using the Weighted Product method to get the value used to determine whether they are eligible or not. So that the determination is more accurate and right on target. Keywords: Scholarship, Recommendation System, Weighted Product
