Abstract
Nutrion plays an important role in the human life cycle while nutritional status is an indicator that reflects the level of welfare of a community. According to the Centers for Disease Control nutritional status is divided into good nutrition, mild malnutrition, moderate malnutrition, severe malnutrition, overweight and obesity. Many occurrences of malnutrition due to lack of parental attention to their toddlers because parents do not know the balanced nutrition provided to their children. From this problem the researchers built an application for calculating the nutritional status and nutrition of toddlers to help parents check their nutritional status and nutritional intake quickly because they use smartphones. The development of this system uses the fuzzy method in which age, body weight and also sex as input variables to determine nutritional status after that the system will calculate the ideal calories according to the WHO formula and finally the system will take the calculation of nutritional status and calories as input to perform calculations in determine toddler food recommendations using the topsis method. The resulting application has an accuracy rate of 84% nutritional status, from 25 data taken from journals, only 7 data are not appropriate because of the difference between nutritional status in anthropometry and fuzzy methods. The system is able to calculate nutritional status until the process of recommending toddler food so that this application can be used as needed. Keywords: Nutrition,Fuzzy, Topsis, Android
