Abstract
Fruit suppliers are the main resources in improving the quality and quantity of distribution of a fruit company. Therefore, professional and qualified fruit suppliers need to improve their quality. One effort to get quality fruit suppliers is to select them. The decision support systems that are carried out at Arfa Jaya Fruit Shop are still conventional. It is still based only on the elements of experience during business partnerships and performance in general without assessing in more detailed terms. The assessment is also still subjective. Based on these problems, this study develops a decision support system using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to select and determine fruit suppliers. This system uses criteria determined by the user, namely the criteria of price, quality, delivery time, and distance. It results in a list of ratings of each supplier of fruit suppliers to be selected. The results of testing this decision support system state that the system has been running properly. The system performs input values and calculation criteria and produces final weight as a reference for selecting suppliers. Hence, the store owner is not confused in choosing suppliers with maximum criteria. Keywords: supplier, decision support system, AHP
