Abstract
Madiun City is one of the small cities in the province of East Java. In Madiun, there are already quite a lot of business venture founders in the field of car rental. Each car rental in the city has different price and armada, ranging from ordinary cars, ELF or HIACE or other mini buses, small buses, medium buses, to large buses. Hence the public is difficult to determine the car rental place that suits their needs because the availability of the armada at the car rental is different. People need information about the nearest car rental place and armada provided in accordance with their needs. Therefore, the author designs and builds an application to facilitate the public in using transportation rental services. This application is expected to display car rental information and armada availability from the user's point by applying the haversine formula algorithm in it. The car rental location search system can facilitate and help the public, especially users of transportation rental services. Keywords: information system, haversine algoritm formula, rent car
