Abstract
A web-based student Information Center is a site that provides a wide range of information about campus activities. The information is managed by the operational section. The development of the current era demands the use of systems that can be developed into various programming languages so that the system can be mutually integrated. In this research, the website of the Student Information Center is integrated with the Web service, by implementing the REST API, REST or REST API which is one of the popular concept or architecture today. REST works like a normal Web application, by which the client can send a request to the server via HTTP protocol and then the server provides a return response to the client. API implementation will be very noticeably if some of the desired features are already very complex. Research that can be generated from the implementation of REST API is an information system that can be integrated into other systems using various programming languages.
