Abstract

The road light commonly lights at night. In the morning, the road lights are no longer needed, but some road lights are still on. In the afternoon, when it is cloudy, and there is a need for lighting. It is seen that only those with proper light control light, and others do not. When it rains heavily and causes the visibility of the driver's vision to decrease, it looks less effective when the color of the lights illuminating the road is white but looks effective when the road lighting is yellow. In this study, a system to control road lighting was expected by considering the conditions of light, rain, and time. The Mamdani fuzzy method was used to adjust the LED light intensity. Based on the test results, the road lighting system using a light sensor, rain sensor, and a timer worked well. The lamp can be adapted to follow the light dimming environmental light and rain or no rain conditions through the fuzzy Mamdani process with the highest light intensity of 248.93 from the range 0-255. When it rained, the color of the lights turned yellow, and at night the device remained on even though the light sensor was exposed to light. Keywords: Lights, Lighting, Roads, Fuzzy Mamdani
