Abstract
Internet of Things (IoT) is a technology that has become the talk of the electronic world. With this technology, every device can be easily connected to the internet. Furthermore, it can be controlled remotely by using only smartphones and voice commands to control biometric sensors such as fingerprint, face recognition, and iris-recognition. The development of IoT is not only targeting large-scale industrial networks of public facilities or factories but also targeting electronic devices at home, such as lights, tv, house doors, CCTV cameras, gates, air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, later, connected to the internet. Designing and Building Smart Home Control Systems with Voice Recognition Method Using this Google Assistant, applying the Internet of Things technology was simple, cheap, and efficient. This control system used NodeMCU as a UART communication master with nine-channel outputs to control lights, control air conditioner, control door lock, and Arduino Nano as slave UART communication with five-channel output to control gate, alarm, and PIR sensor.
